Best West Auto Parts dispatches tested used, reconditioned and new car parts from our Bayswater warehouse in Perth to customers right across Australia. Below you'll find how we send orders, what to expect on timing, and how we deal with oversized freight, tracking and anything that goes wrong along the way.

1. Where we deliver

Orders are sent Australia wide. You're also welcome to collect in person from our Bayswater premises during business hours.

2. Options and pricing

  • Freight is priced live at checkout, worked out from the dimensions, weight and destination of your order.
  • We work with established carriers including Australia Post and national road freight operators.
  • Compact parts travel through parcel networks. Anything oversized or heavy is booked with a freight specialist.

3. Handling and dispatch

  • Parts held in stock generally leave us within one business day.
  • Anything ordered after our daily cut-off, over the weekend, or on a public holiday is picked up on the following business day.
  • Should an order need additional checking, testing or special packing, we'll be in touch before it goes out.

4. How long delivery takes

Transit estimates appear at checkout and differ depending on the carrier, the service level and where the part is headed. Treat these as estimates rather than commitments. Regional and remote destinations sit outside standard timeframes.

5. Collecting from Bayswater

Choose Pickup during checkout and hold off on coming in until we message you to say the order is packed and waiting. Bring photo identification along with your order confirmation.

6 Cossom Place, Bayswater, WA 6053

6. Following your order

A tracking link is emailed to you the moment your consignment is handed over. Scan data sometimes takes a few hours to appear in the carrier's system after the first movement, so an empty tracking page early on isn't a cause for concern.

7. Authority to Leave

Choosing Authority to Leave means the driver can leave your parcel at the delivery address without anyone signing for it. From the point the carrier records the item as delivered, it becomes your responsibility.

8. PO Boxes, lockers and hard-to-reach addresses

  • Eligible parcels can go to a PO Box or parcel locker through Australia Post.
  • Oversized and heavy consignments cannot. If you've given us a box or locker for one of these, we'll ask you for a street address instead.
  • Deliveries to remote areas may need extra transit days, or collection from a nearby depot.

9. Oversized freight and unloading

Freight consignments are delivered to the kerb. If you'll need a tail-lift truck, have restricted site access, or want a booked delivery window, let us know before we dispatch so the right service can be quoted.

10. Orders sent in parts

Where an order contains several items, we may send them as separate consignments rather than holding everything back for one shipment. Each consignment comes with its own tracking.

11. Checking your delivery

Parts are packed to survive the trip. Please look over the consignment as soon as it arrives. If the outer packaging shows damage, point it out to the driver where you can, and photograph it before you open anything.

12. Damage, shortages and lost consignments

Get in touch quickly if something arrives damaged or appears to have gone missing. Send your order number, tracking details and photos, and we'll take it up with the carrier and get it sorted as fast as we can.

13. Ownership and risk

In line with our Terms and Conditions, ownership of the goods passes to you once payment clears, and risk passes to you at the point we hand the consignment to the carrier.

14. Getting the address right

Take a moment to confirm your delivery address before you pay. Where a carrier can't complete delivery and the consignment needs correcting, redirecting or resending, charges may be passed on.

15. Sending overseas

Our service is built around Australian customers. If you need a part exported, contact us and we'll look at the options and put together a manual quote.

16. Returns, exchanges and warranty

Details on sending something back, swapping it, or making a warranty claim are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy. Returned goods need to be in resaleable condition with proof of purchase, and a restocking fee may apply. Unless the law says otherwise, warranty cover doesn't extend to labour or freight costs.
